On November 15, 2018, the parallel two-component fiber spunbond nonwovens production line designed and manufactured by Shandong Sweet New Material Technology Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the Institute of Nonwovens and Industrial Textile Innovation of Qingdao University was successfully tested in Laizhou City, Yantai. The equipment produces fine denier curly fibers and evenly meshed nonwovens under the premise of stable and high unit output (200kg/m/hr), and its technical indicators have reached the international advanced level.
This composite spinning and nonwovens production line is 2.4m wide and combines high-yield fiber spinning, cooling and suction, multi-stage pneumatic traction, mesh balance, hot rolling design and other technological innovations and integrations. During the period, 6 patents were declared.
Parallel two-component fibers have different properties due to their two-component raw materials. In the process of spunbond or meltblown, the heat shrinkage is different. The resulting fibers have a high degree of curl, and the mesh-forming nonwovens have the advantages of low quantification, high fluffiness, and good skin-friendly properties.
